Hi there! I’m Alexandra a Biomedical Illustrator/Animator and a Board Certified Medical Illustrator passionate about creating accurate and engaging visuals to explain complex scientific topics. I work with healthcare professionals, researchers, educators, scientists and pharmaceutical companies to bring their concepts and discoveries to life with illustrations and 2D/3D animations. I help them convey their complex topics clearly and effectively to their target audiences.

I am a graduate of the Medical Illustration masters program at the Rochester Institute of Technology, which emphasizes visual problem solving to determine the best approach to communicate difficult concepts. Additionally, I have a Bachelor degree in biological sciences with a distinction in research from Cornell University, and have 5 years of molecular biology and genetics research experience.

I am passionate about creatively visualizing complex scientific topics in way that increases understanding and impact. I specialize in cellular, molecular, and anatomical illustrations, mechanism of action animations, and healthcare professional and patient education. As a freelancer and entrepreneur, I am always seeking opportunities that allow me to explore creative solutions that help increase the understanding and reach of scientific concepts.
